Making Marks
Paintings that explore the space between abstraction and recognition, where landscape, floral forms, and the human figure emerge through intuitive mark-making. The works are driven by gesture, rhythm, and layers of paint which are used as their visual language.

Rochester’s Fine Art gallery, International Art Acquisitions, is one of upstate New York’s largest art galleries. We showcase original paintings and master graphics. As one of upstate New York’s most diverse gallery collections, International Art Acquisitions mission is to provide artwork selections from leading figures of historical scope. Familiar to the collection are works by Warhol, Picasso, Chagall, Moore, Matisse, Kline, Zao Wou-Ki, Motherwell, Basquiat, and Degas. Included in the gallery are examples of contemporary, abstract and representational work by newly emerging artist.
